News Outlets Have Already Begun Inverting Israeli Bill Narrative
The Knesset, Israel: Earlier today, the Knesset approved a new death penalty bill for terrorists convicted of murdering Israelis.
From virtually every point of view, whether ethical, strategic, pragmatic, or logical, this bill is long overdue, and it will deliver justice to those whose irreversible indoctrination is the engine behind countless lost innocent lives.
Terrorism is no joke. It's not a mentality that can simply be "talked away" like Western armchair experts capriciously believe. Yet in a typical antisemitic fashion, outlets like PBS have taken it upon themselves to "gently rephrase" what the new bill is all about.
The Jerusalem Post, while not perfect, accurately declares: "Knesset approves death penalty for terrorists bill, Netanyahu in favor."
But PBS were quirkier and more subversive: "Israel's parliament approves death penalty for Palestinians convicted of murdering Israelis."
Do you notice the difference? Forget about the non-existent "Palestinian" identity and imagine their headline said "Arabs" instead. If one were to believe the PBS' framing of the event, they would also be misled into believing that any Arab who has ever murdered an Israeli can now be legally executed in Israel.
I myself am Arab. Let's say, for example, that I am a criminal, and I murder an Israeli in a domestic incident. In PBS' framework, I would be sentenced to death. But in reality, that isn't the case, because I am not a terrorist, and I am not associated with terrorist organizations. Even if I murder an Israeli, I would be sentenced to prison - like any murderer - and not to death.
Let us please take a look at the definition of International Terrorism, as emphasized by the FBI in the United States:
International terrorism: Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups who are inspired by, or associated with, designated foreign terrorist organizations or nations (state-sponsored).
Convicts of the aforementioned offenses are those set to receive the death penalty, not any Arab who ever murders an Israeli. A murderer is not necessarily a terrorist. A criminal convicted of mass murder is not necessarily a terrorist. But a member of Hamas who has killed hundreds of Israelis, and has been paid a Pay-For-Slay Tax by the PA? That is a terrorist.
Understanding Terrorist Indoctrination
Many people, usually from the comfort of their armchairs at home, love romanticizing the human heart to a fault. I have seen many delirious takes in my life, but one of the worst ones is that you could talk a terrorist out of their genocidal mindset, and advocate for peace.
It's a fundamental misunderstanding of the psychological mechanics that govern terrorist indoctrination. Terrorist indoctrination that has begun at any moment during one's childhood is permanent and irreversible. Especially if an individual has already murdered members of their designated "enemy." Even if a member of Hamas has not yet committed murder, curing their indoctrination is already almost impossible with OR without the patient's consent and willful participation.
But the act of murder is a psychological event horizon. Once crossed, it is no longer possible to get this person to ever accept that their entire life was built on a lie, that nothing is as they imagined in the world, that they have always been a monster, and that they wrongfully killed innocent Jews and Israelis. The existential shock would be so severe that it would be impossible to even experience.
The human brain is especially good at protecting itself from immense traumatic experiences. As such, the terrorist will look for any excuse, any roundabout chain of thought or justification, any thought-stopper, in order to perpetuate the mindset that they are right, they should kill more Jews, and that they are "righteous martyrs resisting oppression."
Forcing a terrorist through cult deprogramming therapy is already impossible. Add in the permanence of their indoctrination, and the possibility of having their old neural pathways activate via no more than a mere phone call or poster, and we have ourselves a terrorist on the loose who will kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people again.
Cult deprogramming therapy only works on willing participants whose indoctrination started later in their life, such as late teenagerhood, early adulthood, or further into adulthood. The underlying problem is significantly different and easier to treat, because a major portion of the patient's life has been spent in reality itself. Terrorists, on the other hand, have been living and breathing from childhood to be martyrs for a radical cause, and have been violently punished with electric cables for not obeying their masters.
Mosab Hassan Yousef has been able to revert the Islamic indoctrination and become a staunch Zionist and Hasbara advocate for Israel because he never personally crossed the psychological event horizon of murdering innocent Israelis, and has purposefully converted to Christianity as part of his mental purification process. Had he crossed it, his recovery would have been unattainable.
Death penalties for terrorists are necessary worldwide. The only part that matters is that caution be exercised when it comes to defining terrorism. In Israel's case, terrorists are members of Hamas, PIJ, PA, PLO, and so on, which matches the definition of International Terrorism I cited above.
P.S. The law is not limited to any ethnicity. Any terrorist, regardless of race, is subject to this bill. It even theoretically applies to Israelis. This means that if you are Israeli and you commit acts of terrorism on the territories of Israel, you get the death penalty. No more will terrorists kill our innocent children, and then eat 3-course meals in Israeli prisons. They get what their hands did to Israelis.
'Tis but a simple deductive syllogism - and the study of critical thinking in logic is essential before participating in any geopolitical debate. Let's take an example individual named Hugo Samberg (Jewish, Israeli), and Faisal Al-Harbi (Arab, Yemeni).
Premise A: Any terrorist, regardless of race, is subject to the death penalty bill.
Premise B: Hugo Samberg is a terrorist, and he is ethnically Jewish, from Israel.
Conclusion: The death penalty bill applies to Hugo Samberg.
Premise A: Any terrorist, regardless of race, is subject to the death penalty bill.
Premise B: Faisal Al-Harbi is a terrorist, and he is ethnically Arab, from Yemen.
Conclusion: The death penalty bill applies to Faisal Al-Harbi.
This is what a nation-state with a spine looks like - the Jewish State of Israel. And terrorists can go to Hell - regardless of their ethnicity. 😀
